The shape
- 01You declare what you’re finishing on day one. A novel. A short. A chapter. A first draft of a thing you started years ago.
- 02You write or revise toward the end every day you can — for the next 30 days.
- 03You finish by day 30. Or you don’t — but you say so out loud, in the forum, with what got in the way.
- 04No word target. The whole metric is whether the thing is done.
- 05Start any day. Your day-one is when you join, not the first of the month.
The point isn’t volume. The point is closing the loop.
What you get for finishing
The Finisher badge. A pinned thread in the closeout forum so other folk can ask you what worked. The thing being done.
What if you don’t finish
We’d like you to write a 100-word post about why. Not as punishment — as reflection. The drafts we abandon are usually telling us something specific.
